My studio practice can be summed up as a diary that notates my daily histories with different techniques, materials and processes. Each moment in the studio is a conscious decision to bracket myself from the practicality of life in favor of reflective indulgence in the ‘life’ of images. These are the poems of my life!
Although there may not always be material similarities between the different projects that I accomplished, they are linked by recurring formal concerns and subject matters, with the latter often being determinant of the materials and forms of the work. Each project often consists of multiple works, often in a range of different media, grouped around specific themes and meanings.
